E’ da stamattina 18 ottobre 2010, che nel sottofondo, oltre alle musichette, sento strazianti denunce di madri e famiglie che chiedono di sapere cosa è accaduto al corpo del figlio…si trovava in carcere per strada aveva un conto con la giustizia o non lo aveva affatto. E la lista sarebbe lunga. A tutto questo alternarsi di voci, come in un incubo manicomiale, leggo che un altro corpo di donna, sciolto in 50 litri di acido, cerca ancora l’autore di tale punizione esemplare per il suo non silenzio. Mi riferisco precisamente a Lea Garofalo, di cui vi porto avanti¬† ampi stralci della stampa on line, che informa di sei¬† ordinanze di custodia cautelare ,¬† emesse nella notte dal procuratore aggiunto di Milano Alberto Nobili e dai pm Marcello Tatangelo e Letizia Mannella. Ma prima che voi leggiate il Caso,¬† una volta ancora non lo conoscevo per niente, anticipo Il movente: ¬´Le ragioni poste alla base dell‚Äôeliminazione della donna risiedono nel contenuto delle dichiarazioni fatte ai magistrati, mai confluite in alcun processo, con particolare riferimento all‚Äôomicidio di Antonio Comberiati, elemento di spicco della criminalità calabrese a Milano durante gli anni ‚Äô90, ucciso per mano ignota il 17 maggio 1995¬ª, ha scritto il gip Giuseppe Gennari nell‚Äôordinanza ¬´le dichiarazioni fatte all‚Äôepoca dalla Garofalo individuavano, infatti, nei responsabili dell‚Äôomicidio l‚Äôex convivente della donna, Cosco Carlo, e il fratello di questi, Giuseppe, detto Smith… estorcere alla Garofalo il contenuto delle dichiarazioni rese all‚Äôepoca e, successivamente, di potere eliminare fisicamente la donna¬ª.

Leggo anche che “Dalle ore 13 di oggi l’Esercito avvierଆ la sorveglianza agli obiettivi fissi stabiliti dal Comitato provinciale per l’ordine e la sicurezza pubblica di Reggio Calabria delle strutture giudiziarie e dei rappresentanti della magistratura.” So anche¬† da Sud De-genere che è nato il blog delle donne calabresi in rete e dal loro Comunicato Stampa : “Numerose donne e associazioni femminili da tutta la Calabria si sono incontrate alla Casa delle Culture di Cosenza sabato 9 ottobre per istituire la Rete delle Donne Calabresi, gruppo nato spontaneamente ma non casualmente. Hanno deciso di fare rete per iniziare un confronto permanente sulle politiche di genere, quelle mancate e quelle da costruire. Solo ieri quell’altro Genere di Sud mi segnalava la (Dis)Umanità varia e¬†avariata. Vengo a sapere che se al Sud si lotta e la¬† polizia rimuove¬† il blocco dei manifestanti a Terzigno , al Nord si parla di bellezza marchio Brambilla, come quella pubblicizzata su Libero, a spesa dello stato che siamo noi:¬† quando si tratta di contribuire al Turismo, con i corpi…Lecco e dovunque sia piacevole essere in un’inserzione, viene pubblicato. Si, il pezzo oggi l’ho fatto lungo come il cappello, nessuno usa più portarlo e toglierselo al passaggio della morte.

“Lea Garofalo, la donna di 35 anni di Petilia Policastro che sarebbe stata uccisa e sciolta nell‚Äôacido, era sorella di Floriano Garofalo, un pregiudicato ucciso in un agguato l‚Äô8 giugno del 2005 nella frazione Pagliarelle. Floriano Garofalo, 40 anni, che era ritenuto il capo dei una cosca attiva a Pagliarelle, venne rincorso e ucciso con tre colpi di fucile che gli spappolarono la testa tanto da renderlo totalmente irriconoscibile…il 9 dicembre del 2002, in una Lancia Thema abbandonata a Ponte di ferro vennero rinvenuti i corpi carbonizzati di altri due componenti della famiglia di Pagliarelle: quelli dei cugini Francesco Garofalo, 38 anni, e Salvatore Garofalo, di 41 anni, che erano stati uccisi con un colpo di pistola alla nuca. Lea Garofalo era diventata collaboratrice di giustizia nel 2002 e aveva iniziato a parlare con i magistrati della Direzione distrettuale antimafia di Catanzaro rendendo dichiarazioni ritenute utili alle indagini; era stata quindi ammessa, unitamente alla figlia, all‚Äôepoca ancora minorenne, avuta dal concivente Carlo Cosco, ad un piano provvisorio di protezione e trasferita a Campobasso…L‚Äôex convivente non le avrebbe perdonato la sua decisione di rompere il muro di omertà e di rivelare alla giustizia i particolari di alcuni delitti dei quali era a conoscenza, se non altro perchè avevano coinvolto la sua stessa famiglia.” 24 novembre 2009. Secondo la ricostruzione della Procura di Milano, Carlo Cosco attirò la ex compagna in via Montello con la scusa che dovevano incontrarsi per parlare del futuro della figlia e decidere tra le altre cose dove sarebbe andata a fare l‚Äôuniversità. I due parlano alla presenza della figlia, poi l‚Äôuomo dice che vuole fare salutare la ragazza agli zii. La madre però non vuole andare a incontrarli e si decide che aspetterà alla stazione centrale, dove le due donne prenderanno il treno per rientrare a casa.√à da questo momento che si perdono le tracce di Lea Garofalo, quando alcune telecamere la inquadrano nella zona del palazzo e lungo i viali che costeggiano il cimitero Monumentale mentre si allontana per recarsi presumibilmente verso la stazione. Solo che Lea alla stazione non arriva mai e la figlia l‚Äôaspetta invano insieme al padre, che nel frattempo è sempre rimasto con lei e che sarà il primo a chiamare la polizia denunciando la scomparsa della donna.¬†Poi come abbiamo visto la vicenda arriva sulle cronache nazionali solo a febbraio, quando la Procura di Campobasso ordina la custodia cautelare di Carlo Cosco e Massimo Sabatino per il primo tentato sequestro nel maggio 2009. Successivamente, il 24 febbraio, altre due persone vengono indagate per aver messo a disposizione alcuni capannoni nel milanese dove la donna sarebbe stata portata dopo la scomparsa e probabilmente uccisa. La svolta definitiva nelle indagini è arrivata questa notte. Il gip milanese Giuseppe Gennari ha emesso sei ordinanze di custodia cautelare, di cui due ‚Äì quella a Carlo Cosco e quella a Massimo Sabatino ‚Äì sono state notificate in carcere. Secondo il gip si è trattato di una vera e propria esecuzione ordinata da Carlo Cosco, che almeno quattro giorni prima del rapimento avrebbe predisposto un piano contattando i complici e organizzando tutto: il furgone dove è stata caricata a forza, il magazzino dove interrogarla per capire quello che aveva raccontato ai giudici,¬†e infine l‚Äôappezzamento dove si ritiene sia stata sciolta in cinquanta litri di acido.
