In un articolo sulla prestigiosa rivista Foreign Policy ha descritto l‚ÄôItalia come ‚ÄúBordello State‚Äù. Perché?

Esatto. Ma l‚Äôidea di bordello è importante non tanto perché ci sono state storie di sesso – dalla D‚ÄôAddario alle altre – quanto per la prostituzione politica, di princìpi.
Giorni fa la deputata finiana Angela Napoli alludeva alla “prostituzione” che potrebbe esser servita ad alcune parlamentari per avere un seggio…
Io non ho prove, ma la signora Lario e FareFuturo (fondazione vicina a Fini, ndr.) l‚Äôhanno detto abbastanza esplicitamente. Ma mi sembra più dannoso per il sistema politico italiano che un Bondi faccia dei versi da terza media per lodare il capo. Il corpo si può recuperare, la mente è più difficile…
Lei estende l‚Äôaccusa anche, più in generale, alla società italiana.
C‚Äôè un rispetto verso il potere che è molto pericoloso, specie quando è diffuso in una parte della società che dovrebbe controllarlo, cioè il giornalismo.
Per Berlusconi, però, la stampa è in grande maggioranza di sinistra.
C‚Äôè una parte della carta stampata che gli è avversa. Ma anche nel Venezuela di Chavez c‚Äôè una stampa d‚Äôopposizione. Il peccato originale nell‚ÄôItalia di Berlusconi è il conflitto d‚Äôinteressi. Non è normale in una democrazia che un politico, specie quando diventa premier, sia non solo uno degli imprenditori più ricchi del Paese, ma anche il padrone, anche se non esecutivo, di metà delle tv e condizionatore di altri 2 canali pubblici.
Berlusconi replicherebbe: e Annozero?
√à vero, ci sono programmi critici in tv. Ma la maggior parte degli italiani guarda il tg: e soprattutto in Italia, dove il tasso di lettura di quotidiani è basso, il peso relativo del tg è molto importante.
Il conflitto di interessi, però, c‚Äôè dal ‚Äò94. Perché gli italiani continuano a votare per Berlusconi?
All‚Äôestero se lo chiedono in molti. Le ragioni sono parecchie: è bravissimo in campagna elettorale, viene aiutato dal controllo di buona parte dei mass media televisivi, e riesce a vendere un sogno. Sia personale ‚Äì una giovinezza eterna e sfrenata: invecchiando si possono avere più capelli, meno rughe e più ragazze ‚Äì sia di successo economico altrettanto falso quanto i capelli. Infine, l‚Äôopposizione non riesce a consolidarsi.
Il professor Maurizio Viroli, di Princeton, dice che in Italia si è riusciti a ‚Äútrasformare, senza violenza, una repubblica democratica in una corte‚Äù. Concorda?
Berlusconi ha uno strapotere basato su media, potere politico e risorse finanziarie che sicuramente rende molti dei suoi collaboratori più cortigiani che servitori dello Stato. Ma non sono d‚Äôaccordo con chi parla di dittatura. L‚ÄôItalia ha ancora ‚Äì e bisogna ringraziare chi ha scritto la Costituzione ‚Äì punti di potere che mantengono una democrazia. Questi punti di potere ‚Äì come la Corte Costituzionale, o la carta stampata ‚Äì sono ancor più importanti da quando si è passati dalla spartizione partitocratica della prima Repubblica alla struttura maggioritaria, dove di fatto chi vince si prende tutto.
Lei parla anche dell‚ÄôItalia come ‚Äúnave sanza nocchiero‚Äù: manca un ministro dello Sviluppo, l‚Äôeconomia stenta, la disoccupazione giovanile è al 29,2%, l‚Äôuniversità perde finanziamenti, la competitività è ferma‚Ķ
Questa è la vera emergenza. Ma mi sembra che sia quasi percepita come la norma. Se si mette una rana in una pentola di acqua bollente, quella salta fuori. Ma se la si mette in una pentola di acqua fredda e poi la si riscalda, sta lì e viene bollita. L‚ÄôItalia è un po‚Äô come quella povera creatura…
Ma come viene vista dagli altri Paesi?
Chi la conosce bene si preoccupa della sostanza politica del problema. Al grande pubblico si presenta invece lo spettacolo di un buffone, di un clown. Da un lato è triste, perché non fa bene all‚Äôimmagine dell‚ÄôItalia; dall‚Äôaltro è pericoloso, perché non si può pensare a Berlusconi solo come al maleducato che insulta un deputato al parlamento europeo, o solo come un magnate con ville e piscine, dove ci sono ragazze nude come mostrato dalle foto di Zappadu.
I rapporti con gli altri Paesi possono risentirne?
L‚ÄôItalia è nel G7: gli altri Paesi trattano con l‚ÄôItalia indipendentemente da chi sia il premier. √à vero che Berlusconi riesce a tessere amicizie: aveva un rapporto buono con Bush e Blair. Ma ora i rapporti personali sono pochi. E questo tipo di politica è davvero importante solo con persone che democratiche non sono, come Putin e Gheddafi.
La situazione che lei descrive assomiglia a un circolo vizioso. Come se ne esce?
Nel ‚Äò900, ogni generazione di italiani ha vissuto una crisi. Le guerre mondiali, le rivolte del ‚Äô68 e il terrorismo, Mani pulite. Ogni volta si pensa che sarà il momento giusto per ‚Äúfare l‚ÄôItalia‚Äù, ma non si coglie l‚Äôoccasione per riforme profonde né si fanno le riforme incrementali fra una ‚Äúrivoluzione‚Äù e l‚Äôaltra. Anche quando Berlusconi se ne andrà si ripresenterà l‚Äôoccasione di una ‚Äúrivoluzione‚Äù, tra molte virgolette. Ci sarà la volontà di cogliere l‚Äôopportunità di cambiare davvero le cose?

LA PROFEZIA DI SYLOS LABINI ‚Äì E l‚Äôautore James Walston ricorda che la frase di Dante era anche l‚Äôincipit di un‚Äôopera pubblicata postuma di Paolo Sylos Labini, economista ma soprattutto uomo di grande moralità e sempre in guerra, nell‚ÄôItalia di ieri contro gli andreottiani, in quella di oggi contro i berluscones. ‚ÄúPerché siamo caduti così in basso? Io esorto i miei concittadini a rifletterci‚Äù, scriveva Sylos Labini all‚Äôepoca, in un appello a favore dell‚Äôeconomia di mercato e della pluralità nell‚Äôinformazione, contro il miliardario Berlusconi. Oggi la nave italiana è ancora più in difficoltà nelle acque internazionali, soprattutto dopo una crisi economica mondiale che l‚Äôha colpita duramente, e quindi la profezia di Dante sembra ancora più attuale.

LA LINEA INTERNAZIONALE – FP poi ricorda la recente conferenza stampa in cui Berlusconi ha definito Putin un dono di Dio, e attaccato Fini parlando di ‚Äúaziendine‚Äù (in italiano nel testo), e le polemiche per la visita di Gheddafi. Nel frattempo i suoi guai si moltiplicano, con i sondaggi in calo e la campagna acquisti tra senatori e deputati, oltre al caso P3. Il tutto viene inquadrato all‚Äôinterno dell‚Äôattuale declino italiano. Iniziato quasi 20 anni fa, quando divenne chiaro che l‚Äôeconomia non era in grado di affrontare le nuove sfide della globalizzazione. Ma ogni anno le cifre della produzione scendono rispetto all‚ÄôEuropa e, naturalmente, la Cina e le altre economie emergenti. La scorsa settimana, l‚ÄôOCSE ha calcolato che il PIL del paese diminuirebbe dello 0,3% nel terzo trimestre (facendo dell‚ÄôItalia l‚Äôunico paese del G-7 con una crescita negativa) e di crescere da un misero 0,1 per cento nel quarto trimestre. Una ripresa vera e propria non è iniziata e l‚ÄôItalia è al 48esimo posto per competitività a livello mondiale, dietro la Lituania e la prima del Montenegro. La disoccupazione giovanile è cresciuta al 29,2 per cento in maggio, in crescita del 4,7 punti percentuali a partire dal maggio dello scorso anno. Il ministro per lo sviluppo economico si è dimesso quattro mesi fa e ancora non è stato sostituito. E mentre l‚Äôanno scolastico inizia, gli insegnanti sono sul piede di guerra per tagli di bilancio, così come le forze di polizia. Ci sono un sacco di problemi reali, ma l‚ÄôItalia è ‚Äúuna nave senza timoniere‚Äù.

Aggiungerei alle disgrazie descritte sopra, anche la creazione della nuova "universita del pensiero liberale" con putin e medvedev docenti di diritto e di quantaltro, in quanto doni della umanità. Questo OVO di berlusconia si è rotto, con perdite di miliardarie, speriamo che questa esperienza con cui lo statista vuole riscrivere la storia del mondo e quella dei (suoi) bordelli abbia migliore sorte.

Caro Giulio, ti prego di leggere tutto il mio commento; capirai che la mia espressione ( forse non del tutto felice) riguarda la professione che ha me, a torto od a ragione ha sempre fatto schifo( sono schifiltoso,cosa ci posso fare) ma non mi permetterei mai di giudicare le persone! Chi sono io per farlo?!!! Come puoi pensare che la dignit√†,la giustizia,la condivisione e il rispetto reciproco e per il diverso, siano per me solo parole?
